About
The person
behind the work.
I do not build websites. I build the version of your website that loads before your competitor’s, ranks above it, and converts the visitors it earns.
How I got here
It started with AndroidScroll.com. I built an Android tech blog from scratch, wrote 200 posts, and grew it to real organic traffic entirely through SEO and performance. No ads budget. No shortcuts. Just a fast site and content that ranked.
Building that site taught me something most developers learn too late: speed is not a feature you add at the end. It is the foundation everything else sits on. A slow site does not just frustrate users. It fails before they arrive, because Google has already decided not to send them.
That obsession with performance led me into Cloudflare, into building custom themes from scratch, into writing custom PHP instead of installing another plugin. Every decision traced back to the same question: does this make the site faster, or does it not?
Now I build sites for clients the same way I built AndroidScroll. Clean code. No page builders. 100 on PageSpeed Insights mobile. Rankings that last.
What I do
I build fully custom WordPress sites — no parent theme, no page builders, no shortcuts. Everything is PHP, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript written specifically for the project. No Elementor. No Divi. No drag-and-drop.
On the infrastructure side I use Cloudflare for CDN, security, and full-page caching, with static assets served from Cloudflare R2. On the SEO side I handle technical audits, on-page optimisation, content architecture, and the kind of structured data that earns rich results in search.
The full stack I work with every day: WordPress, Cloudflare, Cloudflare R2, Cloudflare Workers, PHP, vanilla JavaScript, CSS custom properties, RankMath, and Matomo for privacy-first analytics.
Beyond the work
AndroidScroll is now tech.gwillchijioke.com — a tech blog I still write, covering Android, web development, SEO, and software. Writing forces me to understand things properly, not just well enough. If I cannot explain something clearly, I probably do not understand it yet.
I am based in Nigeria. Most of my testing happens on Tecno devices on real mobile connections, which means the performance standards I hold my work to are not theoretical. They are practical. If it is fast here, it is fast everywhere.
I also write about personal finance at finance.gwillchijioke.com — covering Nigerian personal finance, savings, and investment in plain language.
